'Better late than never'

This year Esperanto speakers all over the world have celebrated the 125th anniversary of the publication of the first Esperanto book, which is commonly called 'Unua Libro'. From time to time this year the mass-media has half-heartedly mentioned the anniversary.

 Now, better late than never, two weeks before the end of the year, when everybody is up to their necks in  Christmas preparations,  Radio Canada International  presents this topic  respectfully and acurately. both in an article and in an interview.  If you have ten minutes to spare please read, listen and if you approve, show your appreciation by sharing the link.

 

P.S. In the early years of the 20th century, long before the Google era, esperantists relied on newspaper ads and brand names: Sapo Esperanto was Esperanto soap.
