Summer 2011 has been a non-event, which
is now officially over and done with. The clocks have gone back and
we get a consolation prize; a prolonged Sunday.
Yesterday was wet, misty and very
autumnal.

Walking through the park a nursery
rhyme popped into my head and would not go away.
One misty, moisty morning,
when cloudy was the weather,
'Twas then I met an old man,
clad all in leather,
clad all in leather,
with cap under his chin,
saying how do you,
and how do you,
and how do you do again.
A relic from my childhood and one I still love.
The following version is just as appealing for adults though.
Nice video.. :-)
SvarSletBack in university, we had annual 'European Night' where the European students performed traditional songs and dances. I really enjoyed the performances.
This video reminds me of those performances and I enjoyed watching it a lot.
Thank you for sharing it.. :-)
Dear Orcalion, thanks for taking the time to make a comment. One of the greatest joys of modern technology is that we can share each other's traditions much more easily.
SvarSletGreat photos - make me want to visit, even in wet, misty, Autumnal weather! The nursery rhyme is new to me - and I thought I knew them all!
SvarSletThanks for commenting on my (occasional) blog.
Excellent photos!
